泄壓持壓閥、緊急開啟閥在傳動方式上采用了水力操作并能自動控制，即利用控制管路中的壓差自動開合，關閉主閥，使上游的壓力不超過某一設定值。閥體采用了全通道流線型設計，流體阻力小，密封性能好，自動啟閉性能靈敏。該閥的主要特點是既可以作泄壓閥，又可以作持壓閥。

1.作泄壓閥時：可將水管中超過先導閥安全設定值的壓力釋放，并維持管中壓力于一定安全值以下，以防止管中高壓或突壓毀壞管線設備

3.作緊急開啟閥時：裝于消防噴淋泵出水口處，當泵出水口處壓力上升某一設定值以上立即開啟
